Playing in Paradise #95 - Mr. Masculine

Good morning! Happy Friday, happy weekend :) Before I get to this week's challenge, I want to remind fellow crafters about the open DESIGN TEAM CALL for Scrapbooker's Paradise - you can find all the information you need in this post.

Nina is our hostess this week, and she's challenging us to make cards with a masculine feel:

PPC95
Since I'm in Christmas overdrive, I decided to attempt a masculine Christmas card:

Supplies: deer stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms (retired); Versamark; Stampendous Pirate Gold Embossing Powder; Marvy Uchida heat gun; Jillibean Soup letter stickers; papers from Echo Park;

What says 'masculine' to me about this card is the clean basic lines. No fussy layers, no fussy embellishments. I didn't have the right letters left in my brown letter stickers, so I've used a plain marker to colour the grey letters - give them a few minutes to dry before removing them from the carrier sheet, and voila.

Have you got a masculine card up your crafty sleeve?  Share with us by December 6th for a chance to win a fabulous prize from Scrapbooker's Paradise! Don't forget to check out what the rest of the team has to share with you:

xoxo,
Jessi

Hi Jessi, Miss Moxie Fabber! ;) I remember you from your recent honor there at MFW. So nice to be working alongside you as a guest at Playing in Paradise this week. :)

LOve that woodland image embossed in gold, and the 'NOEL' is just the right simple touch. Thanks so much for having me as your guest!

Beautiful Jessi, that stamp is so detailed and perfect. I think Cornish is one of the companies that is no more. Having recently reorganized and actually stamped every stamp in my collection. I can say that the cornish ones are some of my favorites. Keep smiling and creating
