Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - N is for...

....eeeeeeeek it's here!!!

Now of course the Sisterhood knows naughty is in the eye of the beholder - and we've got a whole range of uh oh, don't send that to Granny :) Mine has a rude word (shocker!)

***********Profanity Warning!!!*************

Supplies: image from Tiddly Inks; papers from Lily Bee designs; Spectrum Noir markers; Dress it Up light charms; Lil Inkers stitched dies; Sakura Stardust glitter pen; Mod Podge Dimensional Magic

Naughty Christmas cards are some of my very favourites to make, because they are just so unexpected - especially when you pair a cute or pretty image with the rude :)

Go see what the Sistahs made, and then get on with your bad self!

Don't forget to leave some love for this week's guest designer, EVIL EDNA!

Shopping our Stash #229 - No Stamping?? TWO WEEK CHALLENGE!

With Thanksgiving this week in the United States, we have a two-week challenge for you at Shopping our Stash - lots of time to link up. We want to see you create without stamping - and that includes no digital stamps (mwahahahaha). It's easier than you think!

Supplies: Papers from Simple Stories; holly leaves & brad from Making Memories; Tim Holtz design ruler & embroidery supplies

The most challenging part for me was not to stamp a sentiment - several times I *almost* had a card for this and then whoops. Stamped sentiments count too.

I love these holly leaves & the single brad with three berries - they've been kicking around my stash for a few years. This year I have found zero embellishments for Christmas - I did find bells at the dollar store, but otherwise? No packages of die cuts. No little assortments of odds & ends. Mind you, I'm talking just about brick & mortar stores, but still, NADA. I've been relying heavily on stitching and buttons and sparkle - and stash - but I am frustrated because I'd like to shop locally (which for me is an hour drive in one direction, 45 minutes in the other for the two craft stores nearby).  Harumph.

OK, ok, rant over! Go see what the rest of the crew came up with:

Tuesday Morning Sketches #328 - Sami Stamps!

Good morning! I know it's been awfully quiet here - every week I keep thinking "I'll definitely catch up!" but so far....notsomuch. I'm optimistic about January though, folks!

This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have the fabulous Sami Stamps back as our sponsor - and Sami generously provided us with her sweet images to play with!

Supplies: Frosty Stars from Sami Stamps; papers from MME; Spectrum Noir markers; Dress it Up buttons; Diamond stickles and Liquid Pearls

Debbie's sketch is perfect for using those strips of paper left over when you're using 6" pads - it took me longer to decide on the papers than to do anything else!

This challenge will be open until next Sunday, November 29 - hop on over & see what the rest of the team has made!

Shopping our Stash #228 - Thanks!

With American Thanksgiving right around the corner, it's a perfect time to have a thanks theme at Shopping our Stash!  I went for items that were already laying on my desk (the oval die cut, the stamp, Versamark, even the yellow embossing powder...someone should really clean up around here):

Supplies: Waltzingmouse stamp; Versamark; yellow EP' classic small oval Nesties; MME paper; May Arts twine; Basic Grey button

Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy, as Connor likes to say :)

Surely you have something to give thanks for! Check out the DT:

Nina designed a terrific sketch for us this week - and hallelujers, I've finally coloured one of these digis to my own satisfaction!

Supplies: Sherry Baldy digi angel; Reverse Confetti sentiment; Mowed Lawn & Festive Berries distress ink; Spectrum Noir & Sharpie markers; papers from Bo Bunny; Wink of Stella clear glitter pen

Here's the sketch - I've rotated it:

OK, you don't have to actually yodel...I mean, you CAN, because why wouldn't you? But really, what the sistahs are looking for right now is MUSIC!

Supplies: paper from Bo Bunny; stamp from Inkadinkado; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Spectrum Noir markers; classic small circle Nesties; Pumice Stone distress ink; computer-generated sentiment

For maximum earworminess, please sing that sentiment to the tune of O Holy Night. (You're so welcome!)

Good morning! We have a great returning sponsor at Tuesday Morning Sketches - Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet. Something for every taste there! I loved working with Melissa's sketch too - I adapted it for a square card:

I went a little hog wild with the Stickles & Liquid Pearls :)

Here's the sketch:

Shopping our Stash #226 - Light My Fire!

I so love these song-inspired challenge names :) This week at Shopping our Stash we want to see you LIGHT up your creation - lightbulbs, fire, fireplace, lamp, candles, etc etc and so on :) Since it's about to be allxmasallthetime at my desk, I went with a cute little fireplace scene:

Supplies: image stamps from Lawn Fawn; sentiment unkown; Palette Noir ink; Distress inks for watercolouring; AC paper; Tim Holtz design ruler & embroidery supplies

What crafty lightbulb idea have you got? Check out the DT:

Tuesday Morning Sketches #325 - Deedee's Digis!

Good morning! I thought the sketch this week for Tuesday Morning Sketches was perfect for one of these long sentiments. You'll definitely want to play along for a chance to win digis from Deedee's Digis!

Supplies: stamps from PTI; Chipped Sapphire distress ink; versamark & clear EP; classic small & scalloped Nesties; twine & button

Once again I've used Becca's Distress Ink dipping technique, and then generational stamping for the snowflakes so they didn't overwhelm (but still matched). I also sponged the edges of all the panels.

Here's the sketch by Debbie:

This challenge will be open until next Sunday, November 8 - hop on over & see what the rest of the team has made!
